Church Membership
|
|
|
|
| |
 |
 |
At Liberty, we believe that membership is a privilege that is
granted and not a right to be expected. With that thought in mind,
membership involves the following:
I. Requesting Membership
II. Conditions of Membership
III. Duties of Members
IV. Privileges of Members
V. Termination of Membership
VI. "Under Watchcare” Participation

Membership Priviledges:
A. Every member of the church is entitled to vote at all elections and on
questions submitted to the church in conference, provided the member is present.
(Exception: Any member 17 or under would not be allowed to participate.)
B. Every member of the church is eligible for service in the church based
on maturity, spiritual gifts, and agreement with the Statement of Faith.
C. Every member of the church may participate in the ordinances of the church
as administered by the church.
D. The exception to these privileges would be if the General Council of
Elders has ruled a member not in good standing because of disciplinary action.
