3. We believe in Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of
God, who manifested Himself in the likeness of sinful flesh, being virgin born,
and impeccable in His human nature. He died on the cross, being made a curse
to redeem mankind. His death was a perfect substitutionary sacrifice for the
sins of His elect people. We believe that He bodily arose from the dead, ascended
into heaven where He is seated on the right hand of God interceding for His
people, and will return to the earth in keeping with His promise.
Luke 1:30-35
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour
with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and
shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord
God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom
there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon
thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that
holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that
he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by
the Spirit:
Matthew 28:1-6
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the
week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended
from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon
it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that
ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the
Lord lay.
